How to get easycopy from a client to a server If you have a server/client environment and have installed easycopy on a client workstation for test purposes and now want to put them in an area on the server you can not just make a tar-file and copy it to another place/client/disk. However, you can do like this: Make a "cd" to your new EasyCopy installation directory. (e.g.:/opt/easycopy)and run
Select: [4] - Password Maintenance Select: [1] - Install Password Press ENTER, and copy/get the "Primary Key" for the actual machine Press ENTER again Select again: [4] - Password Maintenance Select: [2] - Password Log File Maintenance and follow the direction. After 1-2 minutes,the .agilog file is updated. If you plan to distribute EasyCopy locally to all your client machines, you your standard program to push the software.
