AGI announces EasyCopy on Itanium
COPENHAGEN, Denmark 23 August 2001, AutoGraph International (AGI) today announced its support for the new Intel® 64-bit architecture and released EasyCopy on the Intel® ItaniumTM platform.
EasyCopy, the successful program suite of image communication tools for screen capture, conversion and printing, has more than 160.000 users worldwide and is the preferred printing solution in many of the world's largest corporations.

EasyCopy is the preferred image printing software and is used for technical documentation in many large corporations throughout the world. Among the customer benefits are a uniform interface to image printing on all UNIX platforms and Windows. We have ported the Linux version of EasyCopy to the Itanium hardware, says Jørgen V. We expect to that Itanium based Linux servers will be more and more common in our customers' networks in the future, and we are well prepared to meet the requirement that our software shall run on these new servers.
Never before has printer installation and setup been so easy in the UNIX environment. EasyCopy comes with tools that let the System Administrator create and manage print queues throughout the network. You can now install a printer in EasyCopy and connect it to a print server without the need for a local print queue. EasyCopy also includes interfaces for existing print queues and print servers. Tools for easy integration with plot management systems are also included with the product.
